This French butcher’s apron may be vintage, but the truth is that chain mail never goes out of fashion. It’s not true linked chain mail like I’m familiar with, but it’s close enough. Stainless steel rings connect small aluminum plates – this allows for maximum flexibility. The apron would definitely protect your body against any kitchen blades, but current French health standards do not permit this style of apron to be used. Still, a small quantity of the aprons have been secured and are now available for sale.
If you have the means, you could wear it in your kitchen, use it as a cosplay accessory, or just hang it up as decoration.
