Recently, Pizza Hut Canada took to their Facebook page to ask fans just how much they loved the smell of a box of Pizza Hut pizza being opened. Their response obviously led the chain to assume that people love the smell so much that they wanted it to emanate from their person, resulting in “Eau de Pizza Hut”:
The limited edition perfume was designed to commemorate Pizza Hut Canada reaching 100,000 Facebook fans. Only 110 bottles were produced and shared with lucky Facebook fans who won a bottle by being among the first to share their desire for Pizza Hut perfume.
When asked if the scent will eventually make it to department stores, Beverley D’Cruz, Marketing and Product Development Director for Pizza Hut Canada stoked the hopes of pizzaholics by saying “who knows what the future has in store?”.
