Burritos in vending machines aren’t anything new. As long as you have access to a microwave, they’re a quick and easy fix for lunch. A burrito kiosk, however, is a slightly different matter. The Burritobox has opened for business in West Hollywood and dubs itself “the world’s first burrito kiosk.” You can choose the type of burrito you want from a few different options and condiments like sour cream and Tabasco sauce. The machine doesn’t magically fold all the ingredients together fresh for you to eat – the burritos are pre-made and they’re the already existing Evol brand. The machine heats up the snack and pops out single-serving sized condiments for you to add as you wish.
While your burrito is heating up, the kiosk plays music and people do burrito dances. Maybe because they’re really hungry?
See the machine in action after the break.
