If you haven’t had the pleasure of trying one of Roy Choi’s Korean tacos, you’re definitely missing out. Choi is all about delicious street food that’s served quickly and efficiently, which explains why he’s testing out Google Glass to see if it might make things easier in the kitchen.
In this short demonstration video, Choi shows the audience how Google Glass can be used to share recipe tutorials, look up culinary info and even call Mom. All of that digital power can help cooks come up with new dishes too… like an Irish burrito filled with kimchi.
Choi is big on Google Glass and he thinks it can really revolutionize the restaurant industry. Speaking to Fast Company he notes: “I think the ergonomics can be improved a bit, but once they are then I can see it in professional kitchens. Imagine no more tickets and each cook working from their own Glass? Dopeness.”
