Here at That’s Nerdalicious Industries (a division of MacLennan & Reeves Chemical Processing Inc.) we pride ourselves on our ability to find interesting and, dare we say, exciting refrigeration technology. From a fridge that looks like R2-D2, to a fridge that only opens if you sing “O Canada” at it, to another fridge that looks like R2-D2.
Now, in the year of our lord 2016 – the lord in question being Freon, God of Winter -we can bring you the pinnacle of geeky refrigeration methods: A fridge that looks like that one Jugger-Nog fridge from Call of Duty: Black Ops III‘s Zombie mode.
We know, we’re as shocked – and, indeed, as overjoyed – as you are. Likely you’re bobbing up and down in your chair as we speak like an excited cartoon bunny. Possibly you’d like to know more about this marvelous cooling apparatus. Well good news, because there’s an entire video showing its construction. Check it out below.
The fridge was modified from a regular ol’ fridge by Super-Gamer Builds, who built it as a prize for a contest winner. It came filled with beverages branded after power-ups in the game, and has sounds that play when you open the door or use the bottle opener.
Now that we have found the ultimate in geek fridge customization, I’d like to announce that That’s Nerdalicious Industries (a division of MacLennan & Reeves Chemical Processing Inc.) is officially retiring from coverage of refrigeration technology. Honestly, it’s all downhill from here.
(Editor’s Note: We’re still going to write about cool geeky fridges if we find them. Honestly, we have no idea why Ben would even announce a thing like our “retirement”. That’s just nonsense. We caught him typing this post on a broken typewriter behind the offices while drinking antifreeze from an old Gatorade bottle, so we wouldn’t take anything he says at face value. We’re totally owned by that chemical company, though. Don’t tell anyone.)
