New Hampshire’s New Lottery Tickets Smell Like Bacon

1

If you’ve ever lost the lottery, then you know what it’s like to spend your hard-earned cash on disappointment and an utterly worthless piece of paper. However, New Hampshire is attempting to tackle this problem, and reel in some new business, by exploiting one of the world’s greatest weaknesses: delicious bacon.

The state’s new “I Heart Bacon” scratch tickets offer a chance at $1,000 and reward you with the smell of smoked meat whether you win or lose. Although they normally cost a buck, you can get free tickets and slices of bacon by visiting the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester today, the Cumberland Farms on Main Street in Keene on Jan. 23, the Durham Marketplace on Jan. 24 or the Hooksett Welcome Centers on Jan. 30.
