Keurig is looking to get in on the booze market by teaming up with Anheuser-Busch InBev to produce an “in-home alcohol drink system”.
The product will reportedly build off the company’s previous Kold soda machine, and although beer will likely be the initial focus, the companies are working to eventually offer a variety of drinks, including spirits, cocktails and mixers, among others.
As the product’s development is in its infancy, details are scarce. However, the Keurig concept has been applied to just about everything at this point—including booze. I’m surprised it took this long for Keurig to jump on it’s own bandwagon.
