Moonshot Gin Has Gone Where No Gimmick Gin Has Gone Before

Gin has been squeezed out of the eyes of unicorns, but space gin is a first as far as we know. Indeed, Moonshot gin includes botanicals that were sent to the edge of space and vacuum-distilled along with actual moon rock. This is a huge gimmick of course—but it’s a fun one. Check out the video below to see the botanicals on their near-space journey.

Moonshot gin is made by distilling botanicals including Juniper, Coriander, Cubeb pepper and Fresh Lemon peel. Oh, and Moon Rock. Obviously. Every gram of the botanicals used to make the gin in this bottle was lifted into near-space (over 24km) on March 7th 2017 and exposed to air pressure of less than 1/100th of that at sea level, before being vacuum distilled for freshness and elegance. Taste the Stratosphere.

Moonshot Gin is available in the U.S. at Master of Malt and in the U.K. at Firebox.
