Wine In Warhead-Shaped Bottle Costs $168,000

Australian winery Penfolds now holds the record for the world’s most expensive wine sold directly from a winery. The wine, titled “2004 Block 42” is said to be produced from the oldest continuously producing Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the world and will be sold in warhead-shaped 12 glass ampoules for a staggering $168,000.

But does the taste reflect the price? Maybe… because research suggests that people’s enjoyment of wine increases when they think it costs more.
