So your favorite barista at Starbucks can doodle a little heart in your latte? Big deal. Japanese latte artist Mattsun can make legitimate works of art using a metal stirrer and a bit of latte foam. He began tinkering with lattes back in 2009 while working at an Italian restaurant, and in 2011 he held a solo exhibition, entitled Blue Sky Latte Art, in Dōtonbori, Osaka, Japan. So far, he’s created over 500 pieces of latte art. He hopes to one day own his own mobile cafe so he can spread his latte art throughout the land.
