Starting this Monday, August 22nd Starbucks will unveil a Pumpkin Spice Latte challenge on its Facebook page where visitors can compete to bring the popular Pumpkin Spice Latte to their cities one week ahead of schedule.
“One of the things that we know about the Pumpkin Spice Latte is that we have a huge fan base around this beverage that we bring back every year,” says Alex Wheeler, vice president of global digital marketing for Starbucks. “We wanted to do something fun and different this year … and empower customers to bring it to their city first.”
The competition will be fought on three fronts: city shout-outs, solving a daily challenge or making a daily creation. Each activity earns points, the cities with the most will get the Pumpkin Spice Latte first.
The contest will run from August 22nd to the 26th—the winning cities will have the PSL in their local stores on August 30th.
