Starbucks Strawberry Cheesecake Frappuccino Pops Up In Australia

While Australia is famous for its surf, kangaroos and dangerous “nopes” (I’m looking at you, Sydney funnel-web spider), the land down under is also getting some attention thanks to Starbucks. The coffee chain recently debuted a strawberry cheesecake frappuccinos there, and it’s only available for a limited time.

According a rep from Starbucks, the new frappuccino features a unique strawberry sauce that’s paired with “sweet, rich cream cheese flavors together with biscuit crunch for a taste of decadence in every sip.” The drink was first introduced last summer in Starbucks locations throughout China and the Asian Pacific region.

Also, the drink garnered some interesting attention last week when a Reddit user posted the above pic of some “cheese-flavored” syrup. Starbucks notes that the sauce is actually the cheesecake flavor.

The drink will only be available in Australia for a short time, and there are currently no plans to bring it to the states. So if you need to get your liquid cheesecake fix, you better plan a trip down under.
