Royal College of Art graduates Amos Field Reid and Lasse Oiva realize the importance of caffeine for fueling the world’s productivity – that’s why they created this “Velopresso” mobile coffee-making machine. The device uses a gas-powered espresso machine and pedal-driven burr grinder to serve coffee to those who slept in too late to make it to Starbucks.
Unfortunately, it’s still in the prototype phase, meaning it will be awhile before this thing pops up at bus stops and street corners. Pre-orders are expected to begin in early summer for budding entrepreneurs.
