If you’re sick of spending big money on beer that will end up all over a pong table and will be tainted with the taste of hand sweat and plastic, behold “Pong” – the lite beer made specifically for playing beer pong.

The product is currently available in eight states, with more on the way. The product site states that each 30-pack comes with two free ping pong balls, and if you buy two 30-packs at a time you will also get a bunch of 16 oz. cups.

So you want to be a Pokemon Master? Redditor Menace64 created a drinking board game based on the first generation of Pokemon Games. The game is simple and easy to follow (a big plus for drinking games), requiring players to partake in actions directed by the squares they land on. Just like the video games, each player starts off by picking a starter Pokemon and ends with battling the Elite Four, Gary, and Mewtwo. Special dungeon areas are also included where the stakes are higher. The most recent version of the game is v1.3, with possible updates in the future. Menace64 has stated that he also plans to create a Johto version.

Etsy sellers/Potters Jason and Jane Chischilly created a series of mugs based on “rhyton” drinking vessels, which were apparently common in ancient Persia. It seems ancient Persians weren’t concerned with putting their drink down.

A rhyton (plural rhytons or, following the Greek plural, rhyta) is a container from which fluids were intended to be drunk, or else poured in some ceremony such as libation (.libation (Σπονδή spondee in Greek) is a ritual pouring of a drink as an offering to a god or deity).
