Police in Timaru, New Zealand had their hands full with a local family that appears to have a strong genetic predisposition towards alcoholism.
The saga began when a 15-year old boy was stopped for drunk driving. He blew three-and-a-half times the youth limit in a breathalyzer test. His mother was later called to pick him up from the station. Shortly afterwards, the mother was picked up for drunk driving as well—testing twice above the legal limit. The woman’s partner was then called to pick them up….and I’m sure you can see where this is going.
That’s right, he was picked up at around 3am that night for drunk driving. The alcoholic hat trick.
