Domino’s Pizza Japan Announces Plans To Build Restaurant On The Moon

The CEO of Domino’s Pizza Japan recently revealed plans for an ambitious program that would place the first fast-food outlet on the moon. The announcement featured a Q&A session, a full- length presentation detailing the construction plans, and a breakdown of the expenses, which would total 1.6 trillion yen, or $21 billion. While the price will include dart boards, pool tables and delivery motorbikes, there’s no word on whether the establishment’s goal is to draw tourists to the moon or simply turn extra-terrestrials on to pizza.

So… either Domino’s Pizza wants to go bankrupt due to an utterly batsh*t investment, or they’ve decided to go down the well worn path of absurd publicity stunts… we’ll choose the latter.

Check out some images of the proposed lunar restaurant after the break.
