This Anime Short About Working For McDonald’s Is A Happy Meal Indeed [Video]

Question: How do you convince the Japanese to work at McDonald’s? Answer: You hire Studio Colorido to make an anime short about how much fun working there can be.

Alright, yes, McDonald’s employment may not be glamorous, or exciting, and maybe people will yell at you because they didn’t want pickles in their Big Mac (and even though they didn’t tell you you should just know, goddamnit). But hey, maybe this little bit of admittedly gorgeous animation, featuring voice acting from several members of AKB48, will convince young people that a job at McDonald’s is a good place to start.

The short is part of McDonald’s “Mirai no Watashi” (or “The Future Me”) initiative to hire more part-time workers. Not much I can say to make fun of that, so pretend this paragraph ended with a hilarious joke, then laugh at it in the appropriate manner.
