Breaking taco news! As you all know, Taco Bell has started switching things up a bit in the last six months by featuring some breakfast items on its menu. Now Taco Bell is taking the taco breakfast game to the next level with three new dishes: the Biscuit Taco and two new A.M. Crunchwraps.
The Biscuit Taco (pictured above) is a warm and flakey biscuit that’s shaped like a taco, and it’s served with your choice of classics like sausage, egg and cheese or bacon, egg and cheese. There is also traditional Southern flavors (since the taco is a nice nod to traditional Southern cuisine) like Crispy Chicken with Country Gravy or Crispy Chicken with Honey. The biscuit is made with real butter and buttermilk, and it also features a new jalapeño honey sauce, which packs a real punch.
The biscuit taco proved popular in San Antonio, TX and Atlanta, GA and is currently testing in select restaurants within the Orange County / Los Angeles area.
As for the A.M. Crunchwrap, it will now be joined by two new breakfast taco cousins, the A.M. California Crunchwrap and A.M. Country Crunchwrap. The California Crunchwrap is filled with bacon, hashbrown, eggs, guacamole, cheddar cheese and pico de gall. The Country Crunchwrap is filled with sausage, hashbrown, eggs, classic gravy and cheddar cheese. Both of these tacos were tested in the L.A. and Orange County areas, and will soon be available nation-wide in mid-October.
