Wendy’s Debuts New Logo, Pigtails Remain

Time is clearly marching on for logos (with the exception of Coca-Cola) – only days after Arby’s unveiled their updated 10 gallon hat design, Wendy’s has followed suit, debuting a revamped logo that no longer emits a 19th century amusement park vibe.

The new logo is part of a larger effort to update the chain’s locations, and was thoroughly tested with customers. According to CEO Emil Brolick, “When we pushed things too far, they very much reeled us back”.

You can expect the new logo to pop up at new and renovated locations starting in March 2013.
