Drive-thru violence has erupted once again—this time at a Wendy’s in Fort Meyers, FL.
Apparently, an argument erupted after the employee repeatedly told the customer to “speak up” when placing her order. She also is reported to have said “There’s no need to disrespect me, because I will go out there and kick you’re ass”—which is exactly what she did.
A fellow employee describes what he saw after the drive-thru worker put down her headset and exited the building: “Out the window, I see her walking toward the car and I’m like, ‘Oh, crap. She’s outside’… There were punches flying. [The Wendy’s staffer] actually landed one.”
Naturally, the employee in question claims she never touched the woman, but that will be for the courts to decide.
This incident comes less than a week after a Burger King employee in Detroit killed a 67-year old customer when a punch to the face caused him to choke on his dentures.
