Burger King has launched a clever ad campaign on DirecTV channel 111 that will offer free Whoppers to anyone willing to stare at an onscreen burger.
Sometime during a five minute span, you will be prompted to press an arrow button on your remote—which is good for one free burger. If you’re feeling up to it, you can make it a double by staring for 10 minutes. Can you handle 30-minutes? If so, there might be three free burgers in it for you.
Burger King emails the coupons to winning households. So far, consumers have logged over 5,000 hours of Whopper-watching. The promotion runs through tomorrow, June 17th.
