Forget about attending the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry; I’d like to devour it. Baker Cherry Bay Cakery came up with this gigantic gingerbread version of the castle. It’s held together with fondant and royal icing, and she melted crushed root beer barrel candies to make the windows. The valley under the bridge is made from Rice Krispies, and she used Petal dust on the rocks and roofs to make them look more realistic. In the end, she used 50 pounds of fondant and spent 100 hours on the project. I think she would get an Outstanding on her O.W.L. exam for baking.
