Scottie’s Pizza Parlor of Portland, Oregon recently made dairy history by creating a pizza topped with 101 different varieties of cheeses.
While you might expect the result to look like a mountain on top of crust, the “Centouno Formaggio”, which set the world record for the largest cheese assortment on a pizza, actually contains very little of each variety.
The process reportedly utilizes a 55-cheese blend as well as Scottie’s Pizza Parlor’s house-made ricotta and a blend of 36 soft cheeses. From here pizza artists grate a blend of nine dry cheeses on top before stuffing the crust with part-skim mozzarella.
The slices were being sold for only $2 each, though it appears that last Friday was your last chance to taste it. So, for now, we’ll just have to be content with these pics.
