As part of a new Amazon/Domino’s PR campaign for the Super Bowl, the Amazon Echo home assistant will have the ability to order Domino’s pizza just in time for the big game this Sunday. Simply ask Alexa to order some Domino’s, and she’ll take care of the rest.
Of course, you’ll need to activate the Domino’s skill in your Alexa app (which links to your Domino’s account) first, and you’ll have to enter your phone number so Alexa can provide updates on your pizza delivery with Domino’s pizza tracker.
There’s no word on when the Domino’s add-on to Alexa will premiere (this Friday most likely), but it should be available before the Super Bowl.
We can only hope that this is the first of many such food ordering upgrades slated for the Echo because I can’t be bothered to spend even a few minutes ordering terrible, terrible food.
