A California family is suing Disney after their 4-year old was burned by excessively hot nacho cheese. Burns were sustained on the boys upper lip and various other spots on the face when he accidentally flipped the cup full of nachos while trying to keep from falling out of an unsteady chair.
Attorney Sean Cahill explains:
“The cheese should not have been that hot,” said Cahill. “Nobody has a reasonable expectation that it be served at a temperature causing immediate and severe burns on contact.”
Sounds like shades of the infamous 1994 hot coffee lawsuit against McDonald’s, only with sticky nacho napalm. Ouch.
