Taco Bell’s marketing strategy appears to have boiled down to one concept: “let’s make weird taco shells”.
Following the successful limited-time release of the Naked Chicken Chalupa, and other concoctions like the Croissant Taco, Waffle Taco and the wildly popular Doritos Locos Taco, Taco Bell is taking the weird shell concept a step further with the Naked Breakfast Taco. It features a fried egg shell stuffed with diced potatoes, sausage or bacon, nacho cheese, and shredded cheddar. It will also be available “dressed” with a flatbread shell.
Taco Bell will begin testing the Naked Breakfast Taco in Flint, MI, locations starting April 18.
