Blizzard knocked it out of the park with Overwatch. To show their gratitude, fans have joined up to crowdfund cookies for the development team.
Christopher Culley came up with the project concept, and he started an Indiegogo project–appropriately titled the Blizzard Cookies Project–to gather cookie funds. The goal was to purchase 250 cookies for $625. News traveled fast about the project on Reddit, and at the time of writing the cookie project has gathered almost $3,000!
Because it has been such a success, Blizzard has suggested that the cookies be limited in favor of a donation to charity. So Culley will be sending the additional funds to Child’s Play—a very worthy cause.
