You may remember that crazy potato salad kickstarter that ended up raising $55,000 back in July. Zack Brown, the man behind the kickstarter who was originally just looking for $10 to make his dish, threw the huge party he promised and raised lots of money for a local charity.
The Idaho Potato Commission and corporate sponsors donated the supplies to make the potato salad along with an extra $18,000 for the Columbus Foundation which fights hunger and homelessness. Additional funds will be coming from the party, making this the most charitable potato salad in history.
