Two guys named Thomas and Quentin grew bored of random lunch foods and decided to combine their creative forces to improve, and experiment with, the conventional burger. The results are inspired by everyday headlines and recent events – including an homage to Neil Armstrong which consists of an all-white burger in a sesame-seed sky topped with coconut shavings. The team also commemorated the 50th anniversary of the James Bond franchise with a “Bun, James Bun” burger.
They hope to hook up with more restaurants and magazines as they push the burger boundary. Hit the jump for additional pics.
The honorary “Neil Armstrong Burger” used mushrooms, pear, cream cheese, and coconut dust to create the moon, and sesame seeds for the surrounding galaxy
In honor of Halloween, the “Brrrrgeur” was created with “beef heart,” “raw human flesh,” baby corn, pickles, and Tabasco sauce.
“Eat it before it eats you!” Quentin and Thomas warn of the “Crabzilla,” a beastly creation of crab meat, lemon, lettuce, mango, oranges, and tomatoes.
“Le Burger Pas Mérité” is made of zucchini, tomatoes, steak, béarnaise sauce, and a carefully crafted bun.
This “Bun, James Bun” is the website’s newest creation. It’s made with gold tinfoil-wrapped patties, quail eggs, lettuce, crème fraîche, and mini-octopi.
