There’s no doubt that Volkswagen has a pretty creative marketing team. The latest example of this comes in a print ad featured in a recent issue of Auto Trader, where readers are encouraged to “Eat The Road”.
Volkswagen means this quite literally since the ad is made out of “glutinous rice flour, water, salt, propylene glycol, FD&C colour, and glycerine”. So it would seem that the road is completely edible, albeit a bit bland.
