Yep, that’s the iconic hunting dog the famous 1980 “Duck Hunt” video game (aka The Dog Who Could Not Be Shot) made entirely from cans. It’s on display as part of the CANstruction exhibit in San Francisco, which helps raise donations of canned goods and money for food banks. Roughly 30,000 cans were used for the various displays in the gaming-focused exhibit entitled “From CANdyland to WoW.” Aside from the Duck Hunt display, there was also other game-related displays, including a massive Rubik’s Cube, a roulette wheel, Skeeball machines, a Donkey Kong display, one of the hippos from Hungry Hungry Hippos, and Plinko from The Price is Right.
