There’s A Bear In My Donut!

hokaido1

The Ueno Zoo station in Tokyo sells these totally tasty (and cute) little bear donuts, which are made by the Shiretoko Factory–each bear is actually made by hand. The donuts are inspired by the Shiretoko native kuma (bear) population which are only cute-looking from far away… because they’re bears. The donut variety pack contains five different pastries: Hokkaido Milk, Hokkaido Pumpkin, Cocoa Chip, Choc Chip, and Salty Fresh Caramel.

Check out some more shots after the break…
