Make Spice-Stuffed Sandworm Bread Inspired By ‘Dune’

Paul Atreides may be the Kwizatz Haderach, but Chris-Rachael Oseland is my new favorite Fremen baker. As someone who worships the Maker, she’s made two delicious treats to honor the Sandworms of Arakkis.

The first is a Spice-Filled Sandworm Bread, which is a sweet bread filled with spice (of course), glazed in sugar and sporting blanched almonds for teeth.

She’s also created an edible version of Wormsign that you can see below. Usually, Wormsign means you’re more likely to be eaten, but this version is a pie depicting younger sandworms swimming near a Spice patch.

I like that she’s included the lifecycle of the sandworms in these two delicious looking desserts.

You can get the recipe for both the Sandworm Spice Bread and the Sandworm Pie plus a load of other Dune-related recipes on Kitchen Overlord.
