Velveeta Frosted SpaghettiO’s Cupcakes With Goldfish Sprinkles

Okay, I’m gonna say it. Becky McKay at The Cereal Baker may well have too much time on her hands or had a serious case of the munchies because I can’t imagine how she looked at a can of SpaghettiOs, yellow cake mix, Velveeta cheese, and Goldfish crackers and thought, “Cupcakes!”

She mixed the SpaghettiO’s with yellow cake mix for the cupcakes, then used Velveeta instead of cream cheese for the frosting.

How were they?

She did mention that Cheez-Its may have been better than Goldfish for the crumble toppers to the cakes. She also noted the following:

The SpaghettiOs remained intact and visible and were a mix of chewy and slightly crunchy. But the frosting, OH, the frosting — it was REALLY good. I was surprised with how well it turned out, both in the texture and the flavor.
