Blair River gained a measure of notoriety as the larger than life spokesman for the famous Heart Attack Grill in Chandler, Arizona. You can still see River promoting the Heart Attack Grill’s tradition of serving customers that are over 350 pounds for free in the video after the break and on the front page of restaurant’s website.
Sadly, River, who stood at 6-foot-8-inches and 575-pounds, died on Tuesday at the age of 29 after contracting pneumonia during a bout with the flu.
Whether or not River’s size played a major role in his death is currently unknown, but the Heart Attack Grill’s unabashedly unhealthy message is likely to draw a lot of attention as a result.
