Even if Ratatouille has a weird side – a rat cooking in the kitchen – I can’t deny it’s a typical heartwarming Pixar film. The setting of the movie makes it a natural fit for Disneyland Paris, and the theme park is opening “Le Monde de Rémy,” The World of Rémy, this summer. The area will have the look of a reconstructed Parisian neighborhood, and among other features, it will feature a Ratatouille -themed restaurant. Chef Paul Bocuse is spearheading the project, presumably without rodent assistance, and it should open this summer.
The bistro will be part of a bigger Ratatouille attraction, and the ride will make a stop in the Chez Gusteau restaurant where actual ratatouille will be served. Mmm, now I’m hungry.
