Starting last year, Starbucks switched to Tcho for it’s chocolate supply. It’s a relatively new company founded by president Jane Metcalfe and CEO Louis Rossetto—who just happen to be the founders of Wired magazine.
Not surprisingly, that means there facility is a little more high tech than most. In fact, many of the factory’s vital functions can be controlled via an iPhone. They even refer to test batches as “beta testing”.
