In a galaxy far, far away (England). CORNOBI!

Indeed, the Cornobi lightsaber corn holder is coming soon from “ideas man” Shed Simove. If you are impatient and demand the utmost accuracy in your corn holders, you might want to just affix a skewer to one of the many lightsaber replicas out there.

Check out a video of Cornobi in action after the break.

My plans for the Memorial Day holiday weekend definitely involve inviting friends and family over and firing up the grill. I might even bust out the croquet set for a game or two. Inevitably a combination of smoked meats, alcohol and the blazing sun will result in a heated argument about bonus strokes that will culminate in me hurtling my brother’s mallet over the neighbor’s fence. Good times — but I digress. The following gadgets can make your grilling party more portable, more extreme and more fun.

We first brought news of a new “Triple Double” triple decker Oreo cookie this past Monday, and now Oreo has confirmed the existence of said snack.

“This summer, Oreo will introduce a new ‘twist’ on the iconic cookie: the Triple Double Oreo. Three chocolate Oreo wafers with two layers of creme — one classic vanilla, and one chocolate. While we tried our best to safeguard this news, we couldn’t hold back the buzz.”

So, look for the Triple Double in your local supermarket fairly soon, and getting deep fried at the fair not long after that.

I am very happy to announce that Nerd Approved and our sister sites Fashionably Geek, CubicleBot and That’s Nerdalicious have partnered with Splitreason to officially launch our own line of nerd-wear!

We are kicking things off with two new shirts—one entitled “Piece and Serenity” that will hopefully appeal to our beloved Browncoats and another that will hopefully appeal to fans of wizardry and ’80s cult gamer movies that are inexplicably memorable.

UK-based BrewDog (who is no stranger to making weird beers) has unveiled a 1000 bottle limited edition Viagra-laced brew to commemorate the upcoming royal wedding.

It also contains a mixture of well-known aphrodisiacs that, we presume, could help the happy couple on their wedding night. Ironically, it will also help avoid the malady commonly known as “whiskey dick.”

If you live the UK, a bottle will set you back £10 ($16) —if you can get your hands on one that is.

As you may have noticed from reading That’s Nerdalicious, I’m an avid homebrewer. I do it the hard way too—all grain, 6-8 hours of brewing and cleaning on day one, then racking and kegging over the next month or so. Perhaps that’s why I’m a bit skeptical about the WilliamsWarn Personal Brewer.

WilliamsWarn claims that it can churn out “commerical quality” beer in seven days—but are we talking Bud Light here? If so, no thank you. However, WillamsWarn actually uses the words “premium” and “world class” in the video after the break.

Check it out to learn more how the Personal Brewery works.

Bacon Day is celebrated in in many places around the globe, (the international observance is on the first Monday in September) but Fayetteville, Arkansas’ version has become something of an internet sensation. That’s because past celebrations have given birth to some awesome bacon-themed creations like the BA-K-47 and the bacon AT-AT.

However, this year topped them all with a sausage-firing bacon bazooka. See it in action in the video after the break.

For lunch today, enjoy some Ham Solo. That might actually be Canadian bacon but, either way, it should be stored in carbonite to maintain freshness.

You may recognize Charm City Cakes and their awesomely nerdy creations from the series Ace of Cakes , but now that the TV show is over they have to find another way to get the word out and pay some bills.

To that end CCC has announced Cakes For Two—smaller cakes with ready-made designs that are reasonably priced for people that want a fancy cake but can’t afford an epic custom creation. And, in this case, “reasonably priced” is a not-so reasonable at $250 a pop.

On the plus side, the cakes actually feed 15 people—and they look awesome. The Boba Fett and Stormtrooper versions are a testament to that. Check out the latter after the break.
