Yet another awesome entry into the Threadcakes contest. In case you are unfamiliar, users submit photos of cakes they made based on their favorite Threadless t-shirt designs.

In this case, a triple chocolate fudge cake with chocolate ganache and Rice Krispie treats was inspired by the shirt “Historical Reconstitution”. As you can see, the results are quite nerdalicious.  Check out the making-of video after the break.

One of the best Threadcake entries yet, this nerdalicious cake is based on a t-shirt called “Firelight Cottage”, which I previously described as a “Thomas Kinkade painting getting torched by a giant robot.” And the best part is that a video tutorial (of sorts) illustrating how Jennifer Flynn managed to put the cake together after the break.

Here we have the “Zombie at Tiffany’s” cake on the left, which I’m sure would thrill Audrey Hepburn to no end, and “Mr. Cloud’s New Scarf” on the right. I’ll bet this version is easier to swallow than the last Indiana Jones movie, but I digress…

T-shirt purveyor Threadless is holding an online baking contest where you turn your favorite Threadless t-shirt design into a nerdalicious cake. And I have to admit, the skull cake on the left is a pretty damn accurate depiction of the shirt on the right. Hit the link below to see more images on how the skull was created.
