Vodka makers have recently been going off on a “let’s see if this will sell” tangent that resulted in a variety of batsh*t flavors… this example is no different, and will certainly be considered more crazy than creative. Polish vodka brand Wyborowa just released this Wasabi vodka as part of their “Oddka” line that also includes Apple Pie and Fresh Cut Grass. The ninja-inspired flavor is described as “fiery” and is designed to creep up on your unassuming taste buds.
The 750ml Oddka vodka flavors are currently available for $15 in select states, and will be distributed globally by Spring 2013.
Wendy’s is relaunching in Japan with a series of new menu items “created exclusively for the Japanese market” including Avocado Wasabi hamburgers, Truffle and Porcini Grilled Chicken sandwiches, and a $17 Foie Gras burger. Check out the complete press release after the break.
Apparently, this is an ad for dishwashing liquid, so there isn’t any wasabi muffin mix on the shelf of your local Asian market or anything. But I’m sure that wasabi muffins have been done by some crazy person in the past. Start your morning off with a bang!
