Jelly-filled donuts are so yesterday. John Clarkson, owner of Mister Eaters fish and chips shop in Preston, Lancashire (England) has put a new twist on donuts by stuffing them with spam. After the spam is added, the donuts are deep fried to a crispy golden brown. Clarkson came up with the idea for National Doughnut Day, and he’s been making them to order for over $4 each. He told the Daily Mail last week that sales were going well, and he expects it to be a hit with regulars. I’d try it!
